The ADAPT Lab is a group of UCL scientists, clinicians and people with lived experience committed to improving the wellbeing of neurodivergent people, older people and people with dementia, our research focuses on understanding psychological processes in ageing (particularly in the context of neurodiversity)  and psychological therapy outcomes for people neurodivergent people or people with chronic illnesses..

 

We develop, adapt, and test psychological therapies aimed at improving the mental health of these groups.

Do you want to be involved in our cutting edge research on dementia, autism, ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, learning disabilities, and/or mental health? Consider joining our research interest list.

We will use this list to email you about ongoing research involvement opportunities. This may include:

  • Participating in research studies (e.g. completing surveys or taking part in interviews).

  • Inputting into research plans (e.g. joining a group of people with lived experience and providing advice on research directions. These may be one off or regular meetings).
