About Us
This lab is one of several at UCL that focuses on developing high quality psychological therapies appropriately adapted for older people including those living with or affected by dementia
Our work includes a variety of projects centred around developing and testing novel psychological interventions and implementation of existing interventions as well as mechanistic work trying to understand basic psychological processes which can, in future, underpin the development of new therapies.
In ADAPT Lab, we are using state-of-the-art techniques to understand ageing processes. Our research spans a range of methodological approaches from qualitative research with people affected by dementia to advanced statistical modelling in longitudinal datasets.
